OFF TO A BUSY START!!!


So far this year has been crazy busy for us. Trips almost every weekend, but we are loving being busy! Our new year found us in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Aladdin hotel and ate an awesome buffet as well as saw the V show. Which was surprisingly one of my favorite shows. It was awesome to celebrate on the Las Vegas strip with about half a million other people.

From there we went on to Redmond in early January to celebrate Lohri. Lohri is a Punjabi festival celebrating the harvest season. It was nice to spend time with family and prepare us for the cold for our next trip.

From there we spent a wonderful wintery weekend at Lake Tahoe with Ravi's co-workers. We spent a day discovering our skiing skills and enjoying warm evenings with friends in the house.

In early February we spent time with Supriya and Priya's Mom. Supriya came down for a conference in Anaheim, which worked out perfectly, so we could spend time with her as well. The weekend we spent some time at Laguna Beach as well as lots of shopping for Supriya. :)

Valentine's Weekend we spent in San Jose. We arrived and spent our day with the Pathak and Sharma family. Ravi and Priya had a chance to spend time with Diya and Arya. Ravi & Neeraj planned an awesome surprise valentines weekend for Meghana and Priya. It started off with a fancy dinner where we all got dressed up. Then a fun filled evening in downtown San Jose at a karoke bar. The next day, the boys surprised us with a brunch cruise in San Francicsco around the harbor. After the cruise we rode the cable car to Chinatown and celebrated the Chinese New Year!

Overall, we have had a wonderful start to the New Year. We hope that we will have a chance to see everyone either here in California or on our next vacation!
